We developed a corporate website for KMZ Industries – the world’s leading manufacturer of elevator equipment. In 2022, this website replaced the previous one.
It is more than just a website redesign, because the result is a completely new web project with additional functionality, navigation and a 100% new web design. A logical and important prerequisite for the development of the website was the preservation of graphic and textual content accumulated over years of active management. Several hundred pages of articles, reviews, realized portfolio projects, descriptions of products and services – all this has been preserved, but presented in a new, more modern form. Another critically important condition of web development was the consideration of SEO factors, namely the preservation of the site’s position in Google’s organic search, where dozens of high-frequency important queries had stable positions in the TOP-3. Therefore, special attention was paid to the structure of the content and the logic of building the URL of the new site, which saved the website from subsidence in the search and opened up new SEO opportunities.
The web design of the site is light, clean and informative. We took the opportunity to make the web design of the site closer to real products. The framework element is the diagonal borders between the content blocks, the angle of which imitates the slope of the roof of real grain silos. Another feature of the frontend of the site is the monochrome vector images of the products, which we created especially for this website. Perfection has no limits, that’s why we animated these images and got a real wow effect, judging by the appeals to the studio “Can you make the same for us?” The frontend of the site has a large number of creative micro-solutions, which in their totality provide the website with additional value, you can explore it and constantly come across nice features and creative solutions. For example, there are original behavior of bread crumbs when pointing, information inserts, the background of which goes beyond the boundaries of the content area, vertical navigation labels along the left side of the screen, accents at the beginning of articles and much more. Attention to detail is a must for professional website development.
The corporate site of KMZ Industries has an extensive multilevel structure, which contains both corporate information and a large number of professional industry publications: articles and market reviews, a library of knowledge on the arrangement of grain transportation and storage, and a large number of production cases. Presumably, the term “agrarian portal” is more appropriate for this project than a corporate site. The content is interconnected, and when exploring one topic, the user can easily switch to a related one. The site has 3 language versions. Taking all of this into account, the site’s content management system is thought out to the smallest detail and provides the company’s content managers with wide opportunities to create new pages, sections, and edit content.
