Brand Book design for boats manufacturer

Our team has designed Brand Book for Agilis Jettenders GmbH – a global manufacturer of tenders from Germany. The company manufactures premium-segment boats and has an extensive network of dealers around the world who conduct local communication campaigns and represent the brand. Hence, there was an urgent need to finalize and unify all visual manifestations of the brand, positioning accents, marketing texts and content developments. A creative agency always needs a deep understanding of the industry, the brand, the products themselves and the ability to focus on the client’s goals to develop a brand book that will be really useful to the business. That is why we were involved in such a delicate task as the Brand Book design.

The structure of the brand book is built in such a way that marketers and designers can quickly find what they need and do not miss important things. The brand book begins with an INTRO, which broadly explains the brand’s philosophy, product positioning, production approach, and even reveals the meaning of the brand’s syntax: “Agilis translated from Latin – easily set in motion, agile, fast.” The BASICS section contains the main elements and rules of the Agilis brand identity: logo options and rules for their use in design, corporate fonts and colors, which are divided into background and accent colors.

An important section of the brand book is ELEMENTS, for which we developed additional elements of the corporate identity. Here are collected perfect design elements that should be used when creating any visual communication. For each boat model there is a brand image, actually a sub-brand, which consists of the logo and the name of the boat model. We created a package of high-quality 3D renderings from various angles and prepared a photobank of official high-resolution images for each model. We also created a signature pattern that imitates the structural elements of the boats themselves (seat cut pattern) and can make any background interesting.

 

The MESSAGE&BENEFITS section contains detailed information on brand and product positioning. The creation of this section involved an in-depth analysis of the market, positioning and activity of competitors, features of the client’s products. Key advantages of Agilis boats:

  1. the producing country well-known for its quality;
  2. the possibility to create a tender directly on the manufacturer’s website before ordering (materials, colors, technical equipment);
  3. the premium materials used in boats;
  4. the type of engines that make tenders fast and reliable.

We identified the most important advantages for the potential user and found short and concise words for these messages: “Crafted in Germany”, “Custom Luxury Jet”. These and other prepared elements allow Agilis Jettenders GmbH partners to easily create their own visuals for advertising and marketing in a unified brand style and with the right content.

 

Brand book also includes a package of corporate design attributes for everyday use (envelopes, letterheads, business cards, avatars, etc.), which are outlined in the DESIGN ASSETS section. It is impossible to predict all cases of brand manifestation, that`s why we have created the DESIGN REFERENCES section, which contains real examples of how the Agilis corporate style can be applied in various cases (participation in exhibitions, posts in social networks, production of souvenir products, publications in the press, etc.). An integral part of the brand book is the archive of graphic materials, where the source files of all the materials described above are collected.
